OOU NEWS UPDATE (Strike)

There have been some mixed feelings about the OOU-ASUU strike against the state government.

Quite a few numbers of the students on campus are slightly in support of the strike, hoping to make a better use of it as some did, during the previous 5months strike by the ASUU body of Nigeria, hereby learning a trade or two, some hustling for jobs etcetera.

Apparently, not everyone is in support of it, some see it as a waste of time as it would only put a set back to the school's calendar and also delay final year students, hence depriving them of going for NYSC service as at when due.
Now, we see quite a few changes in plans as the school has refused to go on strike, instead OOU-ASUU has declared a 7working days ultimatum for the Ibikunle Amosun led government to meet her demands and if the government fails to, it would result to a total indefinite strike.
