OOU2015: THE UNPLEASANT MEMORIES
By: Sanya Boluwatife
The year 2015 has been a remarkable one most especially the rate at wish our students were snatched away by death.
If death were human, people would have gone an extra mile to kill death, it's so agonizing to think of the manner with which it renders people hopeless and helpless and how it knocks down destinies within a twinkle of an eye.
That brings to mind; the worrisome question of why our students had to die at a tender age.
Death snatched over twenty OOUITES within a year. The most remarking incident was that of June 26, when eight of our students died in a ghastly motor accident.
Did you notice that after the June 26 incident, we still recorded over five accidents??
This same 2015, some of our brothers and sisters had to take leave of absence for not been able to pay their tuition fee...it was whose fault?? The management? The SUG?? or even the students themselves??
What about the everyday Ago-Iwoye robbery??
We are currently staying at home because of the ASUU strike.
Hmmmm!! the flashbacks are unpleasant right??
All these make us strong!!
2016 is at the corridor, please try to huzzle for your school fees now!!! Don't wait till they give deadlines!!!
